# Sell tickets per time slot

> Charge a price per seat for timed entry, tours, classes, and tastings.

Sell a set number of tickets for each time, priced per ticket: timed entry, tours, classes, tastings.

Your workspace needs [Services access](/services/what-is-services-mode) and a connected [Stripe](/payments/connect-stripe), Authorize.net, or CardPointe account.

1. Add an **Appointment Booking** field and [set your availability](/services/set-your-availability).
2. In **Advanced edit**, set **Capacity per slot** to the tickets available at each time and **Max party size** to the most one customer may buy at once.
3. Add a **Payment** field, select the connected account under **Payment account**, and set **How much to charge** to **Per seat**.
4. Enter the **Price per seat**.
5. Add a required **Email** field if the form does not have one.
6. Select **Save changes** and publish the form.

Customers pick a time, choose how many seats, and pay the price times the seats. Each booking holds its seats until payment settles, then confirms. The confirmation and reminder emails name the seat count when a customer books more than one seat.

To cap tickets across every time, not only per slot, turn on **Limit number of submissions** under **Access** on the **Settings** tab. Pick the booking field under **Count toward the limit**, so each seat takes one spot.

## What Per seat does not do

Per seat charges one price for every seat. Ticket types at different prices, check-in, and waitlists are not part of Maxforms.

Per seat cannot combine with a recurring charge; use a fixed recurring amount for memberships instead.
