Send form submissions to Relaticle CRM
Each completed submission creates linked Relaticle records for people, companies, opportunities, notes, and tasks, while matching prevents duplicate people and companies.
What is Relaticle CRM?
Relaticle is an AGPL-3.0 open-source CRM for People, Companies, Opportunities, Tasks, and Notes. Run it on your own server or use Relaticle Cloud. Compare account options on Relaticle's pricing and inspect its source code on GitHub.
Maxforms sends new completed web form submissions to Relaticle Cloud through Relaticle's REST API. It creates selected linked records from mapped answers, templates, or fixed values.
How do you connect Maxforms to Relaticle?

Open your form
Open your form’s Integrate tab, find the Relaticle card, and select Connect.

Connect Relaticle Cloud
Select Connect New Account, sign in to Relaticle Cloud, and approve access in the window.

Choose records
Choose the connected account, switch on records to create, then choose matching fields for people and companies.

Map your answers
Review defaults, map each Relaticle field, and add custom fields when your records need them.

Save and test
Select Save integration, then send a new completed test submission and inspect Events.

How does Maxforms prevent duplicate Relaticle records?
Maxforms prevents duplicate Relaticle records by updating people with unique emails and companies with unique domains.
Map your form's email answer to Emails, then select Emails under Match existing people by. Map its website answer to Domains, then select Domains under Match existing companies by.

How does Maxforms map data to Relaticle?
Maxforms maps each Relaticle field from an answer, template, or fixed value. Templates accept {form_name}, {submission_number}, {date}, and {workspace_name}. They also accept {id}, {answers}, and one variable per form field.
Relaticle custom fields appear under Add another field… after Maxforms loads your account. Map text, long text, email, phone, link, number, currency, date, toggle, and choice fields. File uploads and record links are not sent.
Which submissions reach Relaticle?
Maxforms sends only new, completed submissions to Relaticle after you save the integration.
Spam, unfinished, and older submissions do not reach Relaticle. A payment submission sends after payment completes. Editing a sent submission does not update Relaticle.
What happens when Relaticle cannot create a record?
Maxforms keeps the submission when Relaticle cannot create a record.
Temporary errors retry automatically. The clock icon opens the Events log, which shows every attempt, status, and response. If Relaticle rejects authorization, reconnect the account.
If the first switched-on record fails, Relaticle creates nothing on that attempt. Earlier records stay if a later record fails. Fix the problem, then send a new test submission. There is no manual resend button.

Frequently asked questions
01Do I need a Relaticle account?
Yes. You need a Relaticle Cloud account. Sign up at app.relaticle.com/login. Maxforms cannot connect self-hosted Relaticle installations.
02What permissions does Maxforms ask for?
Maxforms requests read, create, and update access. Read loads your account and record fields for mapping. Create and update write records. Update lets matching change existing people and companies.
03Does Maxforms send older submissions?
No. New, completed submissions send after you save the integration. Older submissions do not backfill.
04Can the integration prevent duplicate records?
Yes. Map an email answer to a unique Emails field, then select Emails to update a matching person. Map a website answer to a unique Domains field, then select Domains to update a matching company. Without a selected match, or without an email or domain, Relaticle creates a new record.
05Can I pause or disconnect Relaticle?
Yes. Pause the integration on a form from its Integrate tab. Disconnect an account when no forms should use it.
06What happens when Relaticle is unavailable?
The submission remains in Maxforms. Temporary errors retry automatically, and the Events log shows every attempt. There is no manual resend button. After fixing the problem, send a new test submission.
07Does Maxforms send spam or unfinished submissions?
No. Submissions flagged as spam or left unfinished do not reach Relaticle. A payment submission sends after payment completes.
