Scope

This policy applies to Maxforms websites, accounts, forms, templates, integrations, support interactions, and related services. It does not control privacy practices for third-party websites, payment processors, integration partners, or customer-owned forms that are not operated by Maxforms.

If you submit information through a form created by a Maxforms customer, that customer decides what information the form collects and how it is used. Maxforms provides the software that stores and routes that information for the customer.

Information we collect

Account and contact information

When you create an account, request support, or contact Maxforms, we may collect information such as your name, email address, business details, login details, billing status, support messages, and account preferences.

Form and submission information

Maxforms stores forms, fields, files, signatures, settings, routing rules, and submissions that account owners create or collect through the service. Customers remain responsible for the content they choose to collect through their forms.

Payment and billing information

Paid subscriptions and payment-related workflows may involve third-party payment providers. Maxforms does not need to store full payment card numbers to provide subscription billing or payment integrations.

Usage, device, and security information

We may collect technical information such as pages visited, feature usage, browser type, device information, approximate location from IP address, timestamps, log data, error reports, and security events to keep the service reliable and protected.

How we use information

• Provide, maintain, secure, and improve Maxforms.
• Create and manage accounts, forms, templates, submissions, integrations, and support requests.
• Process billing, subscriptions, usage limits, and service communications.
• Detect abuse, spam, fraud, unauthorized access, and security risks.
• Respond to questions, requests, troubleshooting needs, and account notices.
• Analyze aggregate usage so we can improve product performance and usability.

How information may be shared

We do not sell personal information. We may share information with service providers that help us host, secure, support, bill, analyze, or deliver Maxforms. We may also share information when a customer connects an integration, requests support, asks us to route data to another service, or when disclosure is required for legal, security, compliance, or business-transfer reasons.

Customer forms and submissions

Account owners decide what their forms ask for and who receives the responses. If you submit a form created by a Maxforms customer, direct questions about that form, the purpose of collection, or deletion of that submission to the organization that owns the form.

Maxforms customers should avoid collecting sensitive information unless they have a lawful basis, proper notices, and appropriate safeguards for that workflow.

Your choices and rights

You may request access, correction, export, objection to marketing use, or deletion of personal information associated with your Maxforms account by contacting us at hello@maxforms.com. Some information may need to be retained for security, legal, tax, billing, fraud-prevention, or backup reasons.

You can manage many account details directly in Maxforms. Marketing emails, when sent, will include a way to unsubscribe or adjust communication preferences.

Security, retention, and transfers

Maxforms uses administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information from unauthorized access, loss, misuse, or alteration. No internet service can guarantee perfect security, so customers should use strong passwords, limit team access, and collect only the information they need.

We keep information for as long as needed to provide the service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, maintain backups, and protect Maxforms and its users. Information may be processed in locations where Maxforms or its service providers operate.
