Help respondents choose an address while completing a Maxforms Address field. Keep country rules and required address parts aligned with the locations you serve.
Use an Address field for a structured postal address
The Address field groups street, city, region, postal code, and country information. Where autocomplete is available, respondents can select a suggested address.
An address suggestion reduces typing, but it is not a guarantee that a carrier can deliver there. Let respondents review the address and add an apartment or suite.
Configure the address your form needs

Add the field
In the builder, select Add field, then Address under Advanced. Open Advanced edit to configure it.

Choose countries
Use Single country, Specific countries, or Any country. If your service operates in a limited area, make that choice clear.

Choose required parts
Review street, city, state or province, and ZIP or postal code requirements. Show Address line 2 when customers may need a unit number.

Publish and test
Try addresses from the countries you accept. Check both selecting a suggestion and entering address parts manually.

If an address is missing from suggestions
Allow the respondent to review and complete the address manually. Check that the selected country matches the address they are entering.
Test new developments, apartment addresses, and the postal formats common in your service area before relying on autocomplete for fulfilment.
