Use Apple Pay in eligible Stripe form checkouts
Apple Pay lets eligible customers approve a wallet payment instead of typing card details into the form checkout.
How Apple Pay works in a Maxforms payment form
The customer needs a supported device, browser, and configured wallet. Apple Pay appears with Cards where Stripe can offer it.
Stripe processes the payment on your connected account. Maxforms collects the customer’s answers and associates them with the payment.
Configure Apple Pay on your form

Connect the intended Stripe account
Open Integrations and connect Stripe. Finish onboarding and resolve any account requirements.

Check account availability
Review the payment methods on the connected account. A method must be enabled and eligible before checkout can offer it.

Select Cards on the Payment field
Open the form’s Payment field and review Accepted payment methods. Set the amount, currency, and payment flow for the transaction.

Publish and verify the customer flow
Open the published form on a compatible device with Apple Pay configured. A desktop preview without a wallet is not a reliable availability test.
Why Apple Pay might not appear
Check the connected account’s status and the form’s Accepted payment methods first. Then check Stripe’s country, currency, customer, and flow requirements.
Stripe’s Apple Pay documentation gives the current provider requirements. The methods on a live checkout can differ from a marketing list.
Check the payment before fulfilment
Keep another eligible payment method available when customers need a fallback. Do not mark a response paid based only on the form’s completion screen.
