Send form submissions to Telegram

Receive new Maxforms submissions in a Telegram private chat or group. Link the Maxforms bot, then choose which answers each form sends.

Link Telegram and choose a form

    Start the connection

    Open Integrations in Maxforms, find Telegram, and select Connect.

    Choose a private chat or group

    Select Open in Telegram for a private chat, or Add to a group for a shared destination.

  3. 03

    Finish in Telegram

    Tap Start in the bot’s private chat, or select the intended group. Return to Maxforms and wait for the connection to finish linking.

  4. 04

    Select the connection on your form

    Open the form’s Integrate tab, connect Telegram, and select the linked destination. Choose the answer fields and submission metadata to include.

  5. 05

    Save and submit a test response

    Confirm the new message reaches the intended chat or group and includes only the selected fields.

What if the bot does not finish linking?

Keep the Maxforms connection screen open while you finish in Telegram. If group linking does not complete, use the group command shown on that screen.

A connection link expires after a short time. Start a new connection if the link has expired, and confirm the bot can post in the chosen group.

Keep notifications useful for the people receiving them

For a service enquiry, send the requester’s name, preferred contact, and request summary. Keep unrelated fields out of the chat message.

Choose a private chat for an individual notification or a group for a shared inbox. The form response stays available in Maxforms for the full record.

Check the connection when delivery fails

Verify that the bot still belongs to the destination and can send messages. Confirm the form’s Telegram integration is enabled.

Review the integration’s delivery result, restore access if needed, and submit a new response to confirm the connection works.
