Collect deposits with Stripe-connected forms

Take an upfront deposit through Stripe while collecting the service, booking, or project details your team needs to prepare the work.

Charge the deposit and explain the remaining balance

Set the Payment field to Fixed when every customer pays the same deposit. Use Multiple for named deposit options with different amounts.

Label the Payment description as a deposit. Explain what the deposit covers, when the remaining balance is due, and how the customer will pay it.

A one-time deposit does not automatically charge a later balance. Arrange the next payment through your chosen billing or enabled Services workflow.

connect Stripe and add a Payment field before publishing. Pick the intended Payment account and check the accepted methods offered for this form.

Use the payment amount settings for the amount mode, quantities, coupons, and fees.

Test each deposit option. Check the total and make sure the confirmation describes the deposit rather than claiming the whole order is paid.

A response is not proof of a settled payment. Check the payment status before fulfilment and test the customer’s path after a failed payment.
