Create Stripe donation forms that collect donor context
Collect donations through your connected Stripe account and keep donor contact details, campaign choices, and acknowledgement preferences with each response.
Choose donor-entered amounts or preset gifts
Choose Custom under How much to charge when donors should enter their own amount. Choose Multiple for a list of suggested gifts.
Give each preset option a clear label and amount. Collect the donor’s email when you need to follow up, and ask separately about marketing preferences.
A payment confirmation does not establish tax deductibility. Provide any donation receipt and tax wording appropriate to your organization.

Configure the Stripe connection
connect Stripe and add a Payment field before publishing. Pick the intended Payment account and check the accepted methods offered for this form.
Use the payment amount settings for the amount mode, quantities, coupons, and fees.
Test the full payment journey
Test each preset gift and a donor-entered amount. Confirm that the payment status, campaign, and donor details reach the correct response.
A response is not proof of a settled payment. Check the payment status before fulfilment and test the customer’s path after a failed payment.

01Can donors enter their own donation amount?
Yes. Choose Custom under How much to charge on the Payment field. Choose Multiple instead for preset donation amounts.
02Where does the payment settle?
The payment is processed on your connected Stripe account. Maxforms does not hold the funds.
