Every submission has its own address, so you can send someone straight to one response instead of walking them through the inbox.
Get the link#
Open a submission and its link appears in your browser's address bar; close the submission and the address bar clears again. Bookmark it from there, or copy it straight from the page.
You don't have to open a submission to get its link. Select Copy link from a row's Actions menu, or, from inside the open submission, select Copy link at the bottom of the panel. When the panel has more than one extra action available, such as Copy link alongside Download PDF or a payment action, they're grouped under a single Actions button; with only one available, it's a plain button on its own.
Follow a link#
Opening a submission link takes you straight to that response, switching the Submissions tab to wherever the record lives. A link to a response whose payment never landed switches to Incomplete, one to a submission the spam filter caught switches to Spam, and one to a response nobody ever submitted switches to Partial. If the link points to a submission that's been deleted, or to one in a workspace you don't have access to, you land on the Submissions tab with a Submission not found message instead of nothing happening.
Who can open a link#
A submission link only opens for someone who already has access to your workspace, the same access they'd need to browse to it on their own. Sending the link to someone outside your workspace doesn't hand them anything on its own; they still need an invitation first.
