Sell a set number of tickets for each time, priced per ticket: timed entry, tours, classes, tastings.
Your workspace needs Services access and a connected Stripe, Authorize.net, or CardPointe account.
- Add an Appointment Booking field and set your availability.
- In Advanced edit, set Seats per time slot to the tickets available at each time. Set Max party size to the most one customer may buy at once.
- Add a Payment field, select the connected account under Payment account, and set How much to charge to Per seat.
- Enter the Price per seat.
- Add a required Email field if the form does not have one.
- Select Save changes and publish the form.
Customers pick a time, choose how many seats, and pay the price times the seats. Each booking holds its seats until payment settles, then confirms. The confirmation and reminder emails name the seat count when a customer books more than one seat.
In the Booking page tab of Advanced edit, choose what customers see:
- Show times in: Each customer's timezone converts times for each visitor. Choose your zone only (shown as "Central Time only", for example) for an in-person event, so every customer sees the times on your door.
- Show seats left: When few are left shows the count once a quarter of the seats or fewer remain. It also shows it when fewer seats remain than Max party size. Always shows it on every time, and Never hides it. A time slot that holds only one seat never shows a count.
- Full times: Hide them removes sold-out times. Show them as full keeps them on the page, marked Full, and customers cannot pick them.
- Seats question: replaces "How many" with your own words, such as "Tickets" or "Guests".
When every time is sold out, the booking page says Every time is booked. It names when more seats open if a later time is bookable.
To see who booked each time, open Services, select Bookings, then select Time slots. See Manage bookings.
To cap tickets across every time, not only per slot, turn on Limit number of submissions under Access on the Settings tab. Pick the booking field under Count toward the limit, so each seat takes one spot.
What Per seat does not do#
Per seat charges one price for every seat. Ticket types at different prices, check-in, and waitlists are not part of Maxforms.
Per seat cannot combine with a recurring charge; use a fixed recurring amount for memberships instead.
